With over 2500 global employees, BODOR is continuing to expand business world widely and is looking to hire an accounting talent to be part of the Finance function of its U.S. subsidiary, Bodorlaser Inc..

Salary Range paid based on qualifications.

Responsibility:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations for Bodor US and North America, encompassing the following duties:

  • Analyze PRC and US GAAP statements and prepare reconciliations.
  • Manage tax declarations with the support of an accounting firm, ensuring minimal tax risks, and oversee other tax management activities.
  • Monitor treasury status and ensure timely payment of Bodor Jinan purchase orders, with a focus on improving credit card and check management.
  • Engage in Order Financing by collaborating with banks or other financing entities to explore financing solutions.
  • Review expenses and collaborate with other departments to identify solutions for expense savings.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Schaumburg, IL 60173: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 5 years of relevant financial work experience.
  • Working knowledge of accounting practices, financial systems, internal controls, auditing, and standard business practices.
  • Experienced in U.S. taxation, business analysis, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated commitment, responsibility, and high professional integrity.
  • Possession of a U.S. CPA is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and report writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to accommodate time zone differences for communications with China-based colleagues.
  • Self-driven and responsible.
  • Capable of lifting 15 lbs.
